Dear reader,
as the release date of the new directory for
all blog entries of the 5 individual blogs of eurozoneremarks nears, it
is time for some explanations and also apologies prior to publishing the "e-book".
My vision of the economy has been already described here:Economists and medics
In
short it is all about how entities like central banks, governments,
banks, enterprises of the real economy and individuals interact.
Sometimes the author here is the only one who wonders if those
frantically trying to adjust things which got out of control are still
aware of the needs of the latter two groups.
Especially if
they do perhaps forget the contributions to common prosperity by those
'productive' groups which deliver prosperity while being busy to keep their businesses
afloat.
It is worth noting that this project was started
in October 2011 when the author did see some warning signs of immediate
danger to the euro area. The aim was to contribute a bit to improving
communication between people with a some interest in European economy.
What
needs to be reiterated is that the author here invested and invests a
lot of time in this project not only by reading more than 10.000
newspaper articles, research papers, other info like charts, speeches
etc per year, but what takes much more precious time is preparing new
blog entries.
Those only containing some compilations of
external links and especially those with some viewpoints/analysis of
this author which consume pretty much time. Sometimes entries have to be
written in the middle of the night and be released before being abroad
for a couple of days, sometimes they written late in the evening when
sleepiness overpowers the author and some ideas, sentences would have
better developed or written at another time.
The author has good intentions but nevertheless he has to
fulfill several tasks at once. Not only creating new blog entries but
also creating new structure, testing new designs and what is most
annoying of all is to check those new blog entries for some errors
before pressing the 'Publish' button.
So he can assure you
that nothing is more embarrassing when discovering after something is
made available to the public that there is a flaw hidden in the text or
in design. Whether it is spelling, bad English, an error or inaccuracy
in a translation, a mistake when quoting a number or some design flaws
or whatever with some potential of annoying the readers. Some of those
unwanted effects only occurring after the 'Publish' button is pressed as
it happened with some some longer articles about Greece which were cut
in half and much time was needed to restore the full article by
rewriting it. Or when some link lists got scrambled or when some
mysterious Java scripting in some newspaper links has garbled a whole
paragraph of one particular blog entry. All of this only discovered by
chance, sometimes only weeks later. (If you see something odd please react by writing a comment, which will not be published since every reaction needs a manual OK) For all of those mishaps the author
wants to apologize and also for all future unpleasant surprises you
might encounter.
Always keep in mind that most important is not what the author
here writes, how he writes it or how it looks, but those external links
with the potential of yielding some additional knowledge ! As much as
there is awareness for the need of a correct appearance, the priority
No. 1 is to deliver those external articles/ charts/whatever for your information. There are no commercial intentions and all of this done on a voluntary basis (only driven by wish that situation is not spiraling out of control) whenever there is some time left. So don't expect everything to be always up to date. If you have however some other vital information to add to those existing blog entries please feel free to present a link by posting it as a comment. It will be checked and if it is within the guidelines of this blog it will be added later.
It is not intended to insult anyone or any company/institution or
a whole country/region. If there is some criticism , even when it sounds
harsh, the intention is always to expose certain things the author
considers to be incorrect and to contribute by analysis without
'political correctness' to improving those subjects mentioned. He
respects all other economists, politicians other persons such as CEO but
human errors occur and they shouldn't be covered up. All accusations or
assumption are based on information obtained by the author and it is
always intended to 'deliver proof' for such allegations. If someone
wants to object, agree or disagree he/she may feel free to interact by
using the comment section or by sending a message by Twitter.
